(Team of two)
I teamed up with my friend Drakir once again. We randomly picked two weeks-long Shacknews Jam with the theme “Be relatively evil”. We decided to think outside of the box and ignore all standard game genres. The result is a unique game, where the player is controlling the wind to push clouds above the cities to save them from drought.
My role in the team
The idea was brainstormed together. I took care of all the programming and particles effect for rain.
Interesting features
- scrolling around the game world
- minimap for easy orientation
- random map generation (cities are not close to each other or the borders of the map)
- the lifecycle of the clouds (appearing, growing, raining, shrinking, disappearing)
