(Team of two)
I teamed up with my friend Drakir once again. We randomly chose a two-week-long Shacknews Jam with the theme “Be Relatively Evil.” We decided to think outside of the box and avoid standard game genres. The result is a unique game where the player controls the wind to push clouds over cities, saving them from drought.
My Role in the Team
The idea was brainstormed together. I handled all programming and the particle effects for rain.
Interesting Features
- Scrolling around the game world
- Minimap for easy orientation
- Random map generation (cities are placed away from each other and from the map borders)
- Cloud lifecycle (appearing, growing, raining, shrinking, and disappearing)
